Blank Screen Error
| I get a blank screen.
Some of the most commons reason why you would get a blank screen when trying to install a PHP script are as follows:
First you need to make sure that you have created a database and added a user to the database giving the new user the 'all' permissions for that database. If you do not know how to do this please ask your webhost or view our cpanel video tutorials on how to do this.
Next, if your script comes with a mysql dump (or a file with database tables) you will need to import or insert these into the new database. Again, if you do not know how to do this or are not sure you did it correctly you can ask your webhost to do it for you or view our cpanel video and we will walk you through it.
Also, pay close attention to any path information that must be entered. Some paths require a trailing slash and others do not. It does make a difference. If the instructions call for a trailing slash at the end of the path make sure you added the slash. (example: /home/someuser/public_html
